Walter Lee Henderson III
Founder, Executive Director
Mr. Henderson’s professional experience over the last 20 years has allowed him to serve, within The United States Navy. In which he was Honorably Discharged in December 2000. After, serving in the military Walter began a seven year career, into the Retail Industry. Working his way laterally into a Management position with Schottenstein’s Corporations. Soon thereafter, he decided to move into a more financially sustainable income career in the Financial Lending Industry. Leading him into his current role as a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, with Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group.
Mr. Henderson is a native of South Florida’s, Palm Beach County where he enjoys working with in the community and serving others.
Ms. Greene is currently a Senior Professional in the mortgage industry. She has established a successful career over the past 10 years in both Mortgage Sales and Operations. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and has been able to use that outlet to give back to the community on several different levels. During Ms. Greene’s spare time she enjoys playing tennis, serving the youth and spending quality time with her 4 year old son Jordan. Most recently she has been able to give back by volunteering at the Charlotte Rescue Mission, located in Charlotte, North Carolina
Mr. Barclift is a native of Elizabeth City, NC but currently resides in Lewisville, NC. Toby C. Barclift graduated from Attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain.
Mr. Barclift retired from the Army National Guard in 2014 as a Sergeant First Class with a total of 28 years of service as an Active Guard Reserve Soldier as well a traditional Guard Soldier with military occupations of an Infantryman, Petroleum Supply Specialist, Transportation Management Coordinator and Motor Transport Operator. He has been a board member with two(2) other Non-profit, 501(c)(3) organizations in Elizabeth City, NC. After God and family, Mr. Barclift loves to spend his time serving others anyway he can.
Sherry Walker is a native of Virginia with three extraordinary children Jaden, Jordyn and Chanel. She is a graduate of Old Dominion University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Today she is the highly successful business owner of Insure Tax, an income tax preparation and financial consultant business located in Charlotte, North Carolina. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and serving in her community.

Mr. Dana Saunders Retired Religious Program Specialist First Class is the co-founder of #VillageMinded to #VillageMinded employee, mentor to visionary, believer to business man; but when asked he says simply a “Servant Leader”. During his 20 faithful years of military service, he deployed three times while serving six tours around the world. Upon retiring, he understood that today’s youth were suffering and he wanted to place his footprint in the urban community. This pushed the #VillageMinded team to create the L.Y.F.E. 3 (Leading Youth Forward through Education, Expression, and Empowerment) Program.“Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.” ~Jim Rohn~
Ms. Johnson’s existence within the New Freedom Party Organization came by happenstance. It’s been a personal goal of hers, which is to be the generation that can create a new generation. This means to seek out ways in which to help those who are disenfranchised or motivate individuals and their families. To achieve their own goals of ending homelessness, career enhancement, or even youth development via mentorship, fellowship and fostering individual gifts. It’s a personal goal of Ms. Johnson and very important to see, all those within her reach, SUCCEED!
As a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ms. Johnson has obtained her undergraduate degree from Elizabeth City State University in History and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a minor in Nonprofit Management & Leadership from Capella University. Her career background includes management within the customer service, human resources, and accounting. Currently, Erica’s an Accounting Payable Coordinator and Auditor for Schaeffler Group USA.
